attracts thrifty swappers from all over. With good weather prevailing the
swapshop will be in the garden so come down and swap till you drop in the sunshine!

Mrs Bear and the thrifty sisters will be creating a “make
do and Mend” tent at Field Day Festival this summer.
Inside the tent there will be recycled craft making, knitting (knit one, purl one and help make this summers largest festival blanket!) live alteration demonstrations by dressmaker bear and a giant swapshop where you can bring up to 5 items to swap (£2.00 to raid the rails!) or pick an egg from the basket on “Mrs B’s lucky egg dip” and you win an item from the red rail, a make do/mend kit or if your lucky a silver item! |

Get ready to raid Mrs B’s rails and bag yourself some hot
items for the summer (swapshop £2.00, bring up to
5 garments/accessories/shoes). Then head over to our
DIY arena where you can make a “1950’s pinup top”
(a huge trend this summer) by choosing your own retro
fabric and customising your top with cool vintage buttons
and ribbons! (£3.00)
There is also a chance to make vintage recycled accessories or join the “knitty gritty girls” and add a knitted square to this summers largest festival blanket. Trust us DIY fashion has never been so cool! |
