Mrs Bear is proud to announce a long awaited Stoke Newington venue in the heart of bustling Church Street at The Lion pub. Amongst the deli’s, cafe’s and vintage shops Mrs Bears Swapshop couldn’t be in a more ideal location for thrifty swappers. So “go through your wardrobe.......Swapshop needs you!”

3 simple steps away from a new wardrobe..................
Step 1)  Go through your wardrobe and dig out 5-10 good condition ladieswear, kidswear and/ or accessories. (Mrs Bear’s is not just vintage, we take just about anything!)
Step 2)  Bring along your swaps to a Mrs Bear’s event where they will be colour-graded for fair swaps. You will receive your own clothing ration book with your colour coded tokens for swapping.
Step 3)  If you don’t manage to use up all your tokens you can keep your ration book for next time or take home your unwanted swaps - you choose!
Mrs Bear’s Ethos.................
With tough financial times ahead, Mrs Bear’s Swap Shops are themed on a World War II "make do and mend" ethos. The idea being you can get rid of your unwanted clothing items and swap them for someone else’s. It’s also aimed at re-gaining a sense of community whilst reducing your carbon footprint.
